Klondike Tours and Adventures is locally owned and managed. Klondike Tours, opened in 1998 by Greg Clem, has focused on providing a fun and personal experience for tour guests. With the help of Billi, Greg’s wife, the tour company has become a positive part of the local community.

New manager and owner J. Castle, a resident full and part-time since 2004, has taken that focus to heart continuing to provide a quality tour. With over 20 years of experience in customer service and travel tourism (several of them with Klondike Tours), she brings an elevated level of professional and intuitive care to planning your adventures. Productive and positive relationships with local vendors and travel professionals helps to create the atmosphere of “The Last Frontier” that should be a part of your trip. Taking time to include personal touches, such as drop off locations, picture stops and local information both current and historical, is a priority for us. We are here to provide you with special memories of Skagway and your trip to Alaska.

Our staff is carefully trained to know local history and encouraged with incentives and bonuses to add to their knowledge base. We want to show you what it was like to be a part of the Klondike Gold Rush as well as share with you what it’s like to be a resident today. Our bus tours include stops at beautiful wilderness views, points of interest built by hand and sometimes even wildlife. Our Yukon Dogs and Gold tour gives you the opportunity to spend time with not only the dogs and puppies, but with professionals who have made this sport their life. Our White Pass Deluxe Tour includes stops at multiple waterfalls, wide open spaces and at the top of the White Pass, over 3,000 feet above sea level all easily viewed from the bus.

In 2025 we will be meeting guests at the pier where their ship is docked or in town if requested. Our 29 passenger buses are clearly marked “Klondike Tours”, and the drivers will be looking for you. Once everyone is aboard, the tours all start with a trip through Skagway and include information about the history as well as current residents of the town. Our new office location will be 3rd and State Street, with Granny’s Gallery.
